ADHD COACHING &
ADHD COACHING FOR WRITERS
I offer collaborative, strengths-based ADHD coaching for adults and older teens. I'll guide you to develop strategies that meet your unique needs. You'll learn how to calm down overwhelm, understand motivation and productivity, and better manage your time and energy.
How do I get started with ADHD coaching?
About Me
I'm Kirsten, an ADDCA trained ADHD coach who understands the challenges (and advantages!) of a neurodiverse brain. I know that you are creative, have an overload of amazing ideas, don't quite get 'time', and really want to crack the productivity code.
I also work with ADHD writers to help you get past your writing discomfort, writing blocks, perfectionism, procrastination, and organization challenges.
When you work with me, you'll have 'aha moments' that will change the way you approach your life, and or your writing. You'll realize that you do have strengths, you are a creative problem solver, and your path is waiting to be cleared.

"I have been trying to write my book for YEARS and after just a few seasons with
Kirsten I no longer feel like I am drowning in the process and I have direction! I am excited to finally write this book with her coaching!"
Mia T.
"I came to Kirsten after being diagnosed in my late 40s. Through my sessions with her I realized that I have spent so much time and energy in my life trying to do things in a way that wasn't compatible with my brain. It was exhausting. Now I know myself so much better. She taught me how to work with my strengths. I highly recommend working with Kirsten!
Ryan W.
"I am self-employed and work from home and I was desperate to find a way to be more productive. Through my work with Kirsten I no longer strive for consistency but instead I create strategies that accommodate my energy levels, my interest in a project, and my constant distract by new ideas. She really helps you go deep and find your blocks, whether they are emotional or mental."
How much does ADHD coaching cost?
I like to keep my rates accessible to a wide range of clients. I charge $85 US per 55 min session. Please ask for my rate in euros, pounds, or Canadian dollars.
I offer packages of six sessions, paid upfront or in two instalments. This allows time to try out different strategies, gain some self-awareness, understand ADHD better, and break through your limiting beliefs.
The world, for the most part, is designed for and by neurotypicals ... but it's okay to not fit in the square boxes they build.
Actually, many ADHDers expend most of their energy trying to do things they aren't good at in order to fit in, and they spend very little time doing things they enjoy, that they are good at, and that give them energy.
I am here to help you change that!
Can an ADHD Coach really help?
If an ADHD coach is properly trained, with many coaching hours of experience, they can be an invaluable support.
Living with ADHD myself, I understand the unique challenges you face. As your coach, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to help you thrive, whether it's in your daily life, or in your writing journey.
I work alongside you as your thinking partner, creating a space where your ideas can flow and your goals start to feel achievable. Together, we’ll develop strategies that fit your specific needs and working style. Each session ends with clear, doable steps that allow you to test out strategies, reflect on your emotions and actions, and move you closer to feeling in control.
My approach goes beyond quick fixes, because there aren't quick fixes with ADHD. The first step is to accept that you will be managing your ADHD, not fixing it. Because the truth is, you aren't broken, you just need to learn ways of living and doing things that align with your brain. Having walked this path myself, I share insights that make ADHD more manageable. We’ll explore techniques that work with your ADHD rather than against it. No more feeling like you're not good enough, that you're banging your head against a wall, or that the process doesn't work.
For writers with ADHD, I offer specialized support to help you get words on the page. Progress over perfectionism. Whether you’re struggling with focus, or organizing your thoughts, or negative self-talk, we’ll find ways to make writing feel natural and enjoyable.
I take a holistic approach, looking at the whole picture – your mind, body, and daily life – because ADHD touches everything. We’ll identify what’s holding you back and build your confidence step by step.
