Work better with ADHD Coaching

Discover tailored strategies that help you manage ADHD challenges and improve focus in daily life.

What is Access to Work?

Access to Work is a UK government programme that provides financial support for people with health conditions, disabilities, or neurodivergent needs — including ADHD — so they can succeed in paid employment. The grant can cover practical support such as workplace modifications, assistive technology, and, importantly, specialist ADHD coaching. It is not means-tested and does not affect most benefits.

Whether you're employed, self-employed, freelance, contracting, or about to start a new role, Access to Work can offer tailored support that helps you navigate the demands of your job with more confidence and fewer barriers.

How Coaching Helps You Thrive at Work

  • Build sustainable systems for planning and organisation
  • Break tasks down and overcome avoidance or overwhelm
  • Improve time awareness, scheduling, and follow-through
  • Strengthen emotional regulation and resilience
  • Enhance communication and workplace relationships
  • Increase confidence, productivity, and work satisfaction
  • Identify strengths and work in alignment with your natural style

Access to Work & ADHD Coaching — What You Should Know

Access to Work can be transformative for adults with ADHD. Many people experience difficulties with time management, overwhelm, task initiation, planning, and sustaining focus — challenges that can seriously impact workplace performance and well-being. ADHD coaching provides practical tools and personalised strategies to help you navigate these obstacles.

With Access to Work funding, you can receive regular, structured coaching sessions tailored to your job, working style, and personal goals. Sessions may include support with executive functioning, organisation systems, emotional regulation, accountability, communication strategies, and developing habits that work with your neurodivergent wiring — not against it.

You do not need a formal diagnosis to apply, and the process is straightforward. Funding often covers a substantial number of coaching hours, making it an accessible and empowering option for anyone seeking ADHD-affirming workplace support.
